We work through the check items, we record what passes and what does not, and we hand the result back to you in plain words. If your vehicle sails through, you pay for an inspection and nothing else. What people ask before they book
How long does a WOF take?
Most inspections take around 45 minutes to an hour if nothing needs a second look. Book ahead and you can usually wait with the vehicle rather than leaving it for the day.
What happens if my car fails?
We show you the failed item on the vehicle and explain what it takes to put right. You are free to have the repair done here or anywhere else, and the re-check confirms it is sorted.
How often does my vehicle need a WOF?
It depends on the age of the vehicle. Most cars first registered less than three years ago run on a yearly cycle, and older vehicles are checked more often. We will tell you your next due date at the inspection.
Can I get repairs done at the same time?
Yes. If something fails and you want it fixed straight away, we will quote it before we touch it so you can decide.
Servicing and a warrant often make sense on the same visit, and if the inspection turns up something we can put right that day we will quote it before we start. Have a look at vehicle servicing if the vehicle is also due, or send us the details and we will work out what it actually needs.
